The administrative changes signal the government’s intent to move swiftly on its governance and sectoral expansion plans.
Shri Abhay Kumar Singh IAS (Bihar 2004), presently Secretary, Urban Development and Housing Department, Bihar, Patna, with additional charge of Secretary, Information Technology; MD, BELTRON; and MD, Patna Metro Rail Corporation, is transferred and appointed as Secretary, Food & Consumer Protection Department, Bihar, Patna, with continued additional charge of Secretary, Information Technology, and MD, BELTRON.
Shri Rajiv Raushan IAS (Bihar 2010), presently Divisional Commissioner, Saran Division, Chhapra, is transferred and appointed as Secretary of the newly created Higher Education Department under the Department of Education, headquartered in Patna, relieving Ajay Yadav IAS of the additional charge. Shri Himanshu Kumar Rai IAS (Bihar 2010) has been given additional charge of Divisional Commissioner, Saran Division.
Shri Kaushal Kishore IAS (Bihar 2010), presently Commissioner, Darbhanga Division, Darbhanga, is transferred and appointed as Secretary of the newly created Youth, Employment & Skill Development Department, headquartered in Patna, relieving Ajay Yadav IAS of the additional charge.
Shri Avaneesh Kumar Singh IAS (Bihar 2010), presently Divisional Commissioner, Munger Division, Munger, is given additional charge of Divisional Commissioner, Bhagalpur Division, Bhagalpur.
Shri Himanshu Kumar Rai IAS (Bihar 2010), presently Divisional Commissioner, Bhagalpur Division, Bhagalpur, is transferred and appointed as Divisional Commissioner, Darbhanga Division, Darbhanga, with additional charge of Divisional Commissioner, Tirhut Division, Muzaffarpur, and Divisional Commissioner, Saran Division, Chhapra.
Dr Nilesh Ramchandra Deore IAS (Bihar 2010), presently Special Secretary, Cabinet Secretariat Department, Bihar, with additional charge of Managing Director, BMSICL, is transferred and appointed as Special Secretary of the newly created Civil Aviation Department, headquartered in Patna, with continued additional charge of MD, BMSICL, and Secretary, Civil Aviation Department.
