Shri Bhupendra S Chaudhary IAS (Uttar Pradesh 2009), presently Secretary, Public Works Department, Uttar Pradesh, is transferred and appointed as Commissioner – Food & Civil Supplies, Uttar Pradesh.
Shri Chaudhary has held several important positions in the state government, combining policy-level and field experience. Since December 2020, he has been serving as Director in the Department of Water Resources, where he oversaw initiatives related to irrigation and water management. Prior to this, he worked as Special Secretary to the Government in the Department of Disabled Welfare, and held district-level leadership roles as District Collector in Sant Kabir Nagar, Bijnor, and Mau, where he gained hands-on experience in land revenue management and public service delivery.
In addition to his field postings, Shri Chaudhary has served in key administrative capacities such as Special Secretary in the Departments of Information Technology and Khadi & Village Industries Board, and as Director in the Department of Social Welfare. His career trajectory reflects a strong foundation in both developmental administration and infrastructure governance.
