Sh. Atul Sobti, CMD, BHEL was felicitated at the 2nd annual convocation of Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST), Shibpur, the erstwhile Bengal Engineering College, having a rich heritage of 160 years, which was rechristened as IIEST. On the occasion, Sh. Sobti presented the ‘Distinguished Alumnus Award’ to Sh. Tathagat Roy, Hon’ble Governor of Tripura, in the presence of Dr. K. Radhakrishnan, former Chairman of ISRO. He also delivered an address on ‘Accelerating Manufacturing through Innovation’ to a distinguished gathering of eminent personalities.
