Mrs Bani Varma presently Executive Director- BHEL, has taken over the charge as Director (Industrial Systems & Products), Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL).Ms. Varma is an Electrical engineering graduate from the Delhi College of Engineering. She had started her career in BHEL in 1990 as an Engineer Trainee in the Industry Sector. During her extensive tenure in the organisation, she has developed a comprehensive set of competencies viz., strategic management, marketing, business development, commercial, planning, project development & execution, change management and human resource Management. Earlier, as General Manager, CMD Secretariat, she was responsible for managing the organization’s strategic initiatives and operational targets by providing support at the apex level and coordinating with various stakeholders of BHEL, spanning all the company’s segments viz., Thermal, Nuclear, Hydro, Renewables, Captive Power, Industrial Systems, Transportation, Aerospace, Defence, Electric Mobility & Storage etc. She played an instrumental role in driving Company’s Transformation Initiatives across all functions and verticals.
