Shri Atul Vats, IAS , an efficient and result-oriented officer, has been appointed as the District Magistrate and Collector of Hathras, Uttar Pradesh. Earlier, he served as Vice Chairman, Ghaziabad Development Authority, where he played a pivotal role in promoting planned urban growth and infrastructure improvement. An alumnus of Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh, he holds a B.E. in Metallurgical Engineering and an M.A. in Public Management from IGNOU, New Delhi. Known for his commitment to public service, he has previously served as Assistant Secretary in the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs and as Joint Magistrate, Mau, Uttar Pradesh.
