Shri Atal Kumar Rai , an officer known for his steady administrative approach, has been appointed as Secretary, Home Department, Lucknow, Government of Uttar Pradesh. Prior to this, he served as Divisional Commissioner, Saharanpur, where he supervised development programmes and coordinated district administration across the division.
A law graduate holding an LL.B. from the University of Lucknow, Shri Rai has served in various important capacities, including as Director, Food & Civil Supplies Department, Lucknow, where he worked on improving distribution systems and consumer service delivery mechanisms.
