Indian Bureaucracy News, Guwahati, June 24, 2026 | In a significant bureaucratic reorganisation that touched nearly every corner of the state’s administrative machinery, the Assam government on Wednesday moved nearly two dozen senior IAS and ACS officers, reshuffling district commissioners, swapping secretariat heavyweights, and rejigging key portfolios in a move that signals a clear recalibration of the state’s governance machinery.
