Indian Bureaucracy, Guwahati, July 14, 2025 | The Assam government notified transfer order (13.07.2025) that includes appointment of a new Secretary in the office of Chief Minister Shri Himanta Biswa Sarma, delegation of additional charge for the Assam Medical Services Corporation Limited, and appointment of a new Secretary for the Agriculture Department. The names of the officers, along with their current and new postings, are detailed below.
- Shri Hivare Nisarg Gautam IAS (Assam Meghalaya 2015), presently District Commissioner, Hailakandi, Assam, is transferred and posted as Secretary – Chief Minister’s Office, Assam.
- Dr Lakshmanan S IAS (Assam Meghalaya 2011), presently Mission Director, National Health Mission (NHM), Assam, with additional charge of MD, Guwahati Smart City Limited, and, Secretary, Industries, Commerce & Public Enterprises Department (CMAAA), Assam, given additional charge of Managing Director – Assam Medical Services Corporation Limited (AMSCL), and, Commissioner – Food Safety & Drugs Administration, Assam.
- Dr P Uday Praveen IAS (Assam Meghalaya 2016), presently Secretary, Industries, Commerce and Public Enterprises Department, Assam, with additional charge of Director, Innovation, Incubation and Start-ups, and, Drawing & Disbursement Officer (DDO), Directorate of Innovation, Incubation and Start-ups, and, Director, Agriculture, is relieved from all additional charge of Industries, Commerce and Public Enterprises Department, and Department of Innovation, Incubation and Start-ups and appointed as Secretary – Agriculture Department, Assam with additional charge of Director – Agriculture, Assam.
