Shri Ashish Upadhyay IAS (Madhya Pradesh 1989) presently Principal Secretary, Schedule Cast Welfare has been appointed as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Coal from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier vice Shri Vivek Bhardwaj IAS (West Bengal 1990).
