Shri Arun Jha, IAS (BH:81), who was Special Secretary, Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions has taken over as new Secretary of Ministry of Tribal Affairs.
Shri Jha has served Government of Bihar and Government of India in various capacities. In Government of India he served with the Ministries of Agriculture and Chemicals and Fertilizers. Shri Jha has also served as Chief Vigilance Officer in Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited. In Bihar he served as SDO at Hajipur and Bhabua, DDC at Darbhanga, DM at Bhagalpur besides holding many other senior assignments in various Ministries and Department of the State Government.
