Ms. Arpit Sagar, IAS, a dynamic officer of the 2017 batch from the Gujarat cadre, has been appointed as the Collector of Mahisagar. Prior to this, she served as the Deputy Municipal Commissioner at the Vadodara Municipal Corporation, where she contributed to urban administration and civic service delivery with efficiency and dedication. Her new role as District Collector marks a significant step in her career, placing her at the helm of district-level governance.
Ms. Sagar began her administrative journey with a central deputation as Assistant Secretary in the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce & Industry, from July to September 2017. Since then, she has continued her service with the Gujarat cadre, gaining field-level experience and administrative insight.
