Navratna Nalco has instituted ‘NALCO Smiles Award’ for the NGOs and Institutions, working for the rehabilitation and resettlement of differently-abled children/persons. Similarly, to recognize, appreciate and encourage individuals for their significant contributions to Odissi Dance, the company has instituted ‘NALCO Kharavela Awards’ to felicitate an Odissi Guru and an Odissi Dancer. Like previous year the company under its annual recognition, would felicitate two eminent scholars for their contributions in the field of Sanskrit under Nalco Kalidas Awards. The company shall hand over the awards to the winners in the upcoming NALCO’s Foundation Day function on 7th January 2018, at Bhubaneswar. The aluminium major is presently seeking nominations for these awards, for which the last date of submission is 30 th December, 2017.
