Smt Anshula Kant presently Managing Director (Stressed Assets Risk & Compliance), State Bank Of India (SBI), has been appointed as Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer of the World Bank.  Smt Kant served as the Chief Financial Officer at State Bank of India until September 6, 2018 and was its Deputy Managing Director of operations since May 2014 until September 6, 2018. Smt. Kant served as Chief General Manager of Mumbai at State Bank of India. She served as Deputy Managing Director of Operations for National Banking Group since May 2014.

She served as a Director of Central Depository Services India Limited since July 25, 2015 until June 17, 2016. She served as a Shareholder Director at National Stock Exchange of India Ltd. from October 19, 2016 to 2018. She served as a Director of Infrastructure Leasing & Financial Services Limited from August 27, 2015 to June 27, 2016. Smt Kant is a graduate in Economic Honours from Lady Shri Ram College for Women and a Post-Graduate in Economics from Delhi School of Economics.
