Shri Amit Varadan IRTS (1989) presently Joint Secretary, Department of Heavy Industry, has been appointed as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, on lateral shift basis, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for an overall tenure of five years upto 14.02.2024 vice Shri Priyank Bharti IAS(PB 2001).
