Shri Ajay Bhadoo IAS (Gujarat 1999) presently Municipal Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Vadodara has been appointed as Joint Secretary to the President for a tenure co-terminus with the President approved by The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet(ACC). Shri Bhadoo was conferred the Best Collector Award twice for outstanding performance in 2008 and 2010. Being in the leadership position in public administration gave him chance to execute a number of good governance initiatives. The Biometric Attendance system for the government employees way back in 2003-04 .
He was worked as C.E.O. & VC of Gujarat Maritime Board in the port sector. Shri Bhadoo served various capacities such as the Chief Executive Officer of Gujarat Infrastructure Development Board, Dholera Special Investment Regional Development Authority, Managing Director of Gujarat Industrial Corridor Corporation and Dholera International Airport Company.
