Airports Authority of India brings laurels to India

Airport Council International recently selected Airports Authority of India’s Jaipur International Airport for ASQ Global Best Airport as first and Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport, Lucknow declared as second by size and Region (Asia-Pacific) awards in the 2-5 million passengers per annum. On behalf of Chairman AAI, the awards were now received by Sh. Rakesh Kalra, Regional Executive Director (NR), Sh. B.K. Tailang, Airport Director Jaipur International Airport and Sh. M.P. Bansal, JtGM(Engg.) in a grand ceremony held at Warner Bros.

Movie World located at Gold Coast, Australia, on 19thApril 2016,during the 11th Airports Council International (ACI) Asia-Pacific Regional Assembly, Conference and Exhibition held on 18-20 April, 2016. The awards were conferred by Mr. Declan Collier, ACI World Chairperson cum CEO London City Airport and Angela Gittens, Director General of ACI world to AAI. On return from Australia, the awards were presented to Shri S. Raheja, Chairman, AAI by Sh. Rakesh Kalra, Regional Executive Director (NR) and Sh. B.K. Tailang, Airport Director Jaipur International Airport The Chairman appreciated the officers and said “it is a proud moment for Airports Authority of India, as a state owned organization has won such prestigious awards, at par with other best airports in the world like Seoul Incheon & Singapore Changi”. Keep it up, he said further.
