The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the following:

1. The extension of tenure of Shri Prabhas Kumar Jha, IAS (UP:82), Additional Secretary and Financial Adviser, Department of Food and Public Distribution for a period of six months beyond 25.5.2015.

2. The extension of tenure of Shri Hem Kumar Panda, IAS (WB:82), Additional Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change for a period of six months beyond 07.5.2015.
