The WINGS INDIA 2018 being organized by Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) in association with Airports Authority of India – a flagship event of Civil Aviation Sector in this part of the country under the aegis of Ministry of Civil Aviation was formally inaugurated by Shri KT Rama Rao, Hon’ble Minister of Industry, Govt. of Telanagana in the august presence of Shri R N Choubey, Secretary (Civil Aviation), Shri BS Bhullar, Director General of Civil Aviation, Smt. Usha Padhee, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Civil Aviation, Shri Sandeep Somani, Sr. Vice President, FICCI and other stalwarts from the industry at AAI’s Begumpet Airport, Hyderabad today. The four day event (8th to 11th March, 2018) consists of Exhibitions, Conference, Chalets, CEO’s Forum, Static Display and Media Conferences.
Airports Authority of India is one of the organizers of the event and is also participating in the event by erection of a pavilion to showcase infrastructure developments in the field of civil aviation sector, CATFM, GAGAN, Training, Regional Connectivity Scheme-UDAN (Ude Desh Ka Aam Nagrik), Green initiatives and CSR activities. The AAI Pavillion was inaugurated by Shri Anuj Aggarwal, Member (HR) in the presence of Shri S. Sreekumar, RED(SR) and other senior officers of AAI. The AAI Pavillion was subsequently visited by Secretary (Civil Aviation) and other senior officers from Ministry of Civil Aviation apart from the visiting delegations. The theme of the AAI Pavillion and infrastructure developments made in the field of civil aviation sector was well appreciated.
