AAI organizes annual conference of top executives

A two-day Annual Conference of Airports Authority of India`s top executives was inaugurated today by Dr. Guruprasad Mohapatra, Chairman, AAI in presence of AAI board members and top management at Indian Aviation Academy, New Delhi.  The conference will have learning sessions on forces of change, end to end customer evolution, advance commercial relations etc. by global instructor of Airport Council International (ACI) on first day. On second day, presentations will be made by selected teams on the new change initiatives implemented under Project Utkarsha in AAI.

Dr.Guruprasad Mohapatra, Chairman, AAI in his keynote address appreciated the excellent work done by the various airport heads while coping up with the high growth rate in aviation sector in India. He emphasized that although lots of efforts have been put in but need of the hour is to manage the changes in more effective manner so as to make the customer experiences even better and enriching. He encouraged the delegates to be more involved and work towards making the air travel available to the common man in the remotest parts in line with the vision of our Prime Minister.

Mr. Anuj Aggarwal, Member (Human Resources), Airports Authority of India (AAI) in his welcome address stated that AAI is one of the most geographically distributed public sector undertaking, it’s a challenge to manage workforce spread across the length and breadth of the country and to implement changes. He further added that purpose of this conference is to contemplate on the changes & challenges lying ahead of us and to find ways to continuously expand our performance in this dynamic environment.

A similar conference for another set of AAI executives will be held on 13-14th June, 2018 to have the complete top brass in sync with AAI`s corporate plan, vision and mission.
