Shri A V Ramana presently Deputy Chairman Cochin Port Trust has been given additional charge of Chairman, by the Ministry of Shipping. He joined Cochin Port Trust as Deputy Chairman in August 2016. Shri Ramana was Chief Mechanical and Electrical Engineer in the Kolkata Port Trust and was instrumental in facilitating integrated container operations through the OOM (Own Operate and Maintain) model. He also worked as Chief Administrative Officer, Indian Ports’ Association and Deputy Director, Indian Maritime University.
