IPS reshuffle in Jammu & Kashmir – J&K Police | The J&K Police has shifted 9 IPS Officers across the state with immediate effect , the names of the officers are :
- Shri Rakesh Balwal IPS (2012) given premature repatriation from AGMUT-cadre to his parent cadre i.e Manipur cadre.
- Shri Ashish Kumar Mishra IPS (2013) presently Senior Superintendent of Police, Anantnag transferred as Senior Superintendent of Police, Srinagar.
- Shri G V Sandeep Chakravarthy IPS (2014) presently AIG (CIV) Police Headquarters transferred as Senior Superintendent of Police, Anantnag vice Shri Ashish Kumar Mishra.
- Shri Imtiaz Ismail Parray IPS (2009) appointed as DIG- Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), on deputation basis for a period of five years.
- Ms Sarah Rizvi IPS (2008) presently DIG- IR, Jammu given additional charge as DIG (Training) Police Headquarters, J&K Police.
- Shri Chandan Kohli IPS (2013) appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Senior Executive Cadre of the Cabinet Secretariat, on deputation basis, for a period of 04 years .
- Shri Vinod Kumar IPS (2011) presently Senior Superintendent of Police, Udhampur transferred as Senior Superintendent of Police, Jammu.
- Shri Swarn Singh Kotwal IPS presently Commandant, SDRF 1st Bn, Srinagar transferred as Director, Special Security Force, J&K .
- Shri Joginder Singh IPS presently Director- Special Security Force, J&K transferred as Senior Superintendent of Police, Udhampur.
