  • Punjab: Punjab Chief Minister has urged Prime Minister NarendraModi to extend the benefits under the Pradhan Mantri GaribKalyan Anna Yojana (PMGKAY) for another six months, in view of the Covid crisis, to facilitate free wheat and pulses to the beneficiaries of National Food Security Act.
  • Haryana: The state government has taken initiative to start calling the cases which are in home isolation to take feedback from them on various issues like availability of regular health services to them, whether they are following all the instruction given to them during home isolation, any difficult faced by them, any support required from the health department, whether they are taking medicines, wearing masks, sanitizing as per instructions etc. For calling these cases, services of Haryana Help line 1075 call centre are being utilized.By calling these cases not only feedback is taken from them but their issues are also being resolved. Further psychological counselling is being given by the calling agents to decrease their stress and anxiety related to COVID, which is the need of the day during COVID pandemic. Haryana Govt. has also tied up with ePsyclinic (A platform of experienced and qualified Psychologists) to give counselling related to mental health through call centre 1075 for next 3 months.
  • Himachal Pradesh: Chief Minister has approved review meetings to be held in each district of the State to make an assessment of the arrangements made in the districts for containing the spread of COVID-19 as well as district plans towards re-starting the economic activities including development works. These review meetings will be chaired by the Speaker, Ministers, Deputy Speaker, Deputy Chairman and Chief Whip. The agenda approved by the Chief Minister for these meetings at the District level include review of arrangements made for containment of COVID-19, review of implementation of all flagship programmes started by the central and state governments, utilization of unspent amount, status of Chief Minister’s announcements, progress of schemes on which foundation stones were laid by the Chief Minister.
  • Kerala: The state government has issued new guidelines for outsiders visiting Kerala. Those arriving for short trips should not stay for more than 7 days. Earlier quarantine concession was announced for officials and other professionals arriving in the state. Now it also applies to candidates coming to attend exams. They should directly go to their accommodation and should not make any other travel without permission. Kerala High Court has sought an explanation from the State Electricity Board on the plea against the unprecedented hike in the electricity tariff from consumers during the lockdown. Film shooting has resumed in the state after lockdown. Police resorted to lathi charge to disperse a group of migrant labourers gathered in Perumbavoor near Kochi following a fake news circulated that train tickets to return are being distributed. A total of 54 positive cases and 56 recoveries were reported in the state yesterday. 1,340 people are still under treatment for the infection.
  • Tamil Nadu: Tamil Nadu Government announces total lockdown again from 19th June to 30th June in Chennai, Thiruvallur, Kanchipuram and Chengalpattu districts. Puducherry RTC bus driver among the eight new cases of Covid-19 in the UT, tally reaches 202. As cases mount, T.N. govt. begins identifying places to set up Covid-19 care centres for moderately ill patients. State recorded highest single day yesterday: 1,974 fresh cases & 38 deaths. 1415 cases from Chennai. Total cases: 44661, Active cases: 19676, Deaths: 435, Active cases in Chennai: 14667.
  • Karnataka: CM lays foundation for Rs 220 crore airport project in Shivamogga. State decides to constitute 800 booth level taskforce to contain spread of corona and to oversee quarantine facilities. State to organise mask day throughout the state on Thursday, involving celebrities and sports persons. So far 4,40,684 tests have been conducted and 2956 are active cases. 176 new cases, 312 discharges & five deaths recorded yesterday. Total positive cases: 7000, Deaths: 86, Discharges: 3955.
  • Andhra Pradesh:  King George Hospital (KGH) Visakhapatnam closed its morgue temporarily after a PG doctor with the Forensic Medical Department tested positive for Covid-19. KanipakamVinayakaSwamy temple in Chittoor cancels darshans for two days after a home guard posted at the temple tests positive. 246 new cases after testing 15,173 samples with two deaths reported during last 24 hours, 47 discharged. Total cases: 5087, Active: 2231, Recovered: 2770, Deaths: 86.
  • Telangana: State govt fixes ₹2,200 for Covid19 tests in private labs, ₹4,000 for normal isolation, ₹7,500 per day for Covid treatment without ventilator & ₹9,000 per day with ventilator. Government to issue detailed guidelines on this later in the day. Total cases as of 15th June 4,974, of which 2,412 are active cases.
  • Maharashtra: 3,390 new COVID-19 cases have been reported in the state, taking the tally of coronavirus infection to 1,07,958, out of which 53,030 are active cases. Hotspot Mumbai recorded 1,395 new cases, which takes the total number of COVID-19 patients in the city to 58,135.  The number of patients testing positive for corona in Dharavi slums appears to be getting under control, with only 13 patients testing positive while no death has been reported from the area in the last 24 hours. In Mumbai, selected suburban services resumed early this morning, on up and down routes over Western and Central Railways for essential staff of State Government only. These special suburban services will not be available for general passengers/public.
  • Gujarat: The number of Covid-19 cases has gone up to 23,017 with 511 new cases reported during the last 24 hours. 29 patients have also lost their lives taking the death toll to 1,478.  On
  • Rajasthan: 78 new cases have been reported today, taking the state tally of positive cases to 12,772. Out of this, 9631 patients have also been cured till date, whereas the number of active cases stands at 2847. Most of the new cases have been reported from Jaipur and Jhunjhunu districts.
  • Madhya Pradesh: The coronavirus case count reached 10,808 with 161 new patients and 4 deaths coming up in the last 24 hours. The number of cases in Indore, the worst-hit district in the state, rose to 4063.The state capital Bhopal has so far reported 2195 COVID-19 patients. The Madhya Pradesh health department has proposed to rope in volunteers as ‘Covid Mitra’ to help the government in containing the spread of coronavirus in the state. The ‘Covid Mitra’ will be equipped with an oximeter to check the oxygen levels of people. Any healthy individual up to 45 years of age, or a social/voluntary organisation in an urban area can be made Covid Mitra’.
  • Chhattisgarh: 113 new positive cases have been reported on Sunday. Also, 84 patients were discharged from various hospitals in the state after recovery on Sunday. The total number of COVID-19 cases in the state stand at 1662.
  • Goa: 41 COVID-19 cases have been reported in Goa on Sunday, taking the total number of cases to 564 including 74 recoveries.
