Indian Bureaucracy, New Delhi, December 30, 2024| The Department of Personnel and Training notified promotion of several Jharkhand State Civil Service officers to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS). These appointments were made based on the vacancies identified for the Select List of 2023, following consultations between the Government of India and the State Government. The newly inducted officers have been allocated to the Jharkhand Cadre and will serve on probation until further notice. The full list of promoted officers is provided below.

- Shri Sandip Kumar IAS, presently Director Of Sports, Department of Tourism, Arts, Culture, Sports & Youth Affairs, Ranchi, Jharkhand.
- Shri Pasupati Nath Mishra IAS, presently Deputy Development Commissioner (DDC), Garhwa, Jharkhand.
- Shri Raj Kumar Gupta IAS, presently CEO, Jharkhand Agency for Promotion of Information Technology (JAP-IT), Department of Information Technology & e-Governance, Ranchi, Jharkhand.
