Administrative Reshuffle in West Bengal – 7 IAS Transferred | In an Indian Bureaucracy reshuffle, the West Bengal Govt has shifted 7 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) Officers across the state with Devi Prasad Karanam IAS ( 2008) presently Commissioner – Commercial Taxes (Addl Secy level ) West Bengal is now posted as MD- West Bengal Essential Commodities Supply Corporation Ltd, U Swaroop IAS (2011) presently Joint Secretary- MS & ME and T Dept., West Bengal posted as Director- MS & ME with additional charge of MD- Biswa Bangla Corporation, P Mohangandhi IAS (2004) presently MD- WBSIDCL and Secretary- MS & ME and T Dept, West Bengal posted as Registrar – Cooperative Societies with additional charge of Chairman & MD- West Bengal Mineral Development & Trading Corporation Smita Pandey IAS ( 2005) presently Secretary- IT & Electronics Dept with additional charge of MD- WB Electronics Industry posted as as CEO- State Rural Livelihood Mission, Kaushik Halder IAS (2005) presently Secretary- School Edu Dept , West Bengal posted as MD- West Bengal Electronics Industry Development Corporation Ltd. (WEBEL) with additional charge of Secretary- IT and Electronics Dept, Nikhil Nirmal IAS ( 2011) presently DM- Dakshin Dinajpur posted as MD- WBSIDCL with additional charge of Director- Textiles while Anurag Srivastav IAS ( 2007) presently Director- MS & ME and T Dept., West Bengal is now posted as MD- West Bengal State Warehousing Corporation with additional charge of Additional Secretary- Food and Supplies Department, West Bengal.
