Seven IAS Reshuffle in Assam Bureaucracy – Indian Bureaucracy News | The Assam Govt has given additional charge and reshuffled 7 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) Officers across the state with Paban Kumar Borthakur IAS (1989) presently ACS- Transformation & Development, Cultural Affairs and Tourism Depts and Chairman- Assam Administrative Tribunal also given additional charge as ACS- Sports & Youth Welfare Dept, Siddharth Singh IAS (2005) presently Commissioner & Secretary- Health & Family Welfare Dept given additional charge as Commissioner & Secretary- Sports & Youth Welfare Dept while Rakesh Agarwal IAS (2009) presently Commissioner of Excise, Assam is given additional charge as MD- Assam Tea Corporation.
Pabitra Ram Khaund IAS (2010) presently Director- Sports & Youth Welfare, Assam is now posted as Secretary- Irrigation Dept, Umananda Doley IAS (2010) presently Secretary – Guwahati Development Dept posted as Secretary- Welfare of Bodoland Dept, Adil Khan IAS (2011) presently Commissioner – Transport, State Project Director- Assam Inland Water Transport Development Society & MD- AIDC given additional charge as MD- Assam Skill Development Mission while Dr. Sadnek Singh IAS (2014) presently APO now appointed as Joint Secretary- Transport Dept, Assam.
