6 IPS Reshuffled in Assam Police | The Assam Govt has shifted 6 IPS Officers across the state with immediate effect, the names of the officers are :
- Dr L R Bishnoi IPS (1991) presently ADGP (CID), Assam transferred as Special Director-General of Police (T&AP), Assam with additional charge of the Office of Inspector General (IG) of Police (BTAD), Kokrajhar.
- Shri Harmeet Singh IPS (1992)presently ADGP (Admin, Security, M&L), Assam transferred as Guwahati Police Commissioner with additional charge of Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), Border.
- Shri Munna Prasad Gupta IPS (1995) presently Commissioner of Police /ADGP (SB) Assam transferred as ADGP- Vigilance and Anti-corruption with additional charge of ADGP- Administration and M&L.
- Shri A Y V Krishna IPS (1995) transfered as ADGP- Crime Investigation Department (CID).
- Shri Hiren Chandra Nath IPS (1996) presently IGP(SB), Assam Guwahati transferred as ADGP- SB with additional charges of ADGP- Special Task Force (STF) and ADGP- Security.
- Shri Surendra Kumar IPS (1998) presently IGP (CID), Assam transferred as IG- Modernisation, Planning & Coordination with additional charge of IG- Vigilance and Anti-Corruption.
