- Shri Jishnu Barua IAS ( 1988) presently Additional Chief Secretary- Home, Political, Revenue & DM- Border Protection & Development, Social Welfare, Implementation of Assam Accord, Passport and Secretariat Administration (Archives) Departments relieved from the additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary -Social Welfare Department.
- Shri Paban Kumar Borthakur IAS ( 1989) presently coming from Central deputation now posted as Additional Chief Secretary- Social Welfare, Cultural Affairs and litigation Departments .
- Shri Syedain Abbasi IAS ( 1990) presently Additional Chief Secretary- Public Health Engineering, Water Resources, Information Technology, Science & Technology and Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Departments relieved from the additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary- Information Technology and Science & Technology Departments.
- Smti Archana Varma IAS (1995) presently Principal Secretary – Secretariat Administration and General Administration Departments transferred as Principal Secretary- Transport, Information Technology and Science & Technology Departments.
- Dr. Krishna Kumar Dwivedi IAS ( 1996) presently Commissioner & Secretary- Industries & Commerce, Public Enterprises, Act East Policy Affairs, Transport and Skill, Employment & Entrepreneurship Departments relieved from the additional charge of Commissioner & Secretary- Transport Department.
