The 54th edition of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI), the country’s premier film and entertainment celebration, has initiated delegate registrations as it gears up for the grand event. Scheduled to be held in Goa from November 20 to 28, 2023, IFFI is a yearly extravaganza that unites cinema luminaries from India and around the world while offering a platform for emerging talent to display their artistry to a global audience, celebrating the cohesive essence of art, films, and culture.

Organized by the National Film Development Corporation of India Ltd. (NFDC), Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, in collaboration with the State Government of Goa through the Entertainment Society of Goa (ESG), and the Indian Film Industry, the event promises to showcase the finest of Indian and World Cinema.

IFFI’s diverse selection of Indian and world cinema encompasses various sections such as the International Competition (featuring 15 acclaimed feature films), Competition for ICFT-UNESCO Gandhi Medal Award, Competition for Best Debut Feature Film of a Director, Cinema of the World (an official selection of international feature films), Indian Panorama (featuring films in different Indian languages that excel in cinema’s thematic and aesthetic dimensions), and Festival Kaleidoscope (featuring exceptional films from seasoned veterans and emerging talent, along with critically acclaimed films from other festivals). Special curated packages of Indian and foreign films, including Country Focus, Animation, Documentaries, and Goan Films, add to the cinematic richness. Gala Premieres, daily red carpet events, and celebratory moments further elevate the festival experience.

Beyond screenings, IFFI offers workshops, masterclasses, interactive sessions, and panel discussions featuring over 200 prominent figures from the national and international film fraternity.

Delegate registration for the 54th IFFI is open, with the following categories available through iffigoa.org:

  1. Delegate Cinenthusiast: Rs. 1000/- + GST
  2. Delegate Professional: Rs. 1000/- + GST
  3. Delegate Student: No registration fee

Running concurrently with the 54th IFFI, the 17th edition of Film Bazaar, organized by NFDC, has also initiated registration. Film Bazaar serves as South Asia’s largest global film market, fostering creative and financial collaborations among South Asian and international filmmakers, producers, sales agents, and festival programmers.
