5 IAS Transfer in Assam Govt

5 IAS reshuffle in Assam Bureaucracy – Indian Bureaucracy Exclusive | The Assam Govt has reshuffled 5 IAS Officers across the state with immediate effect, the names of the officers are :

  1. Shri Paban Kumar Borthakur IAS ( 1989) presently Additional Chief Secretary- Transformation & Development, Cultural Affairs, Tourism and Sports & Youth Welfare Departments is relieved from the additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary -Cultural Affairs, Tourism and Sports & Youth Welfare Departments. He will hold additional charge as Additional Chief Secretary-Personnel Department .
  2. Shri Maninder Singh IAS ( 1989) presently Additional Chief Secretary -Housing & Urban Affairs and Cooperation Departments and Chief Resident Commissioner- Assam Bhawan, New Delhi transferred as Additional Chief Secretary – Cooperation Department. He shall hold additional charge as Additional Chief Secretary – Sports & Youth Welfare, Cultural Affairs and Tourism Department.
  3. Shri Avinash Purushottam Das Joshi IAS (1994) presently Principal Secretary – Environment & Forest and Revenue & DM Departments and Additional Principal Resident Commissioner- Assam Bhawan, New Delhi transferred as Principal Secretary – Revenue & DM Department and Additional Principal Resident Commissioner- Assam Bhawan, New Delhi as additional charge.
  4. Shri Niraj Verma IAS (1994) presently Principal Secretary – Home, Political, Power (E), Parliamentary Affairs and Personnel Departments and Additional Principal Resident Commissioner- Assam Bhawan, New Delhi to hold additional charge as Principal Secretary – Information & Public Relation Department.
  5. Shri Rajesh Prasad IAS ( 1995) presently Principal Secretary – Excise, Irrigation and Soil Conservation Departments and Chairman- SLNA, WDC-PMKSY to hold post of Principal Secretary- Housing & Urban Affairs Department as additional charge.
