5 IAS Transfers in Assam – Indian Bureaucracy News | The Assam Govt has reshuffled 5 IAS (Indian Administrative Service) Officers across the state with  Paban Kumar Borthakur IAS ( 1989) presently ACS- Transformation & Development, Cultural Affairs, Tourism and Sports & Youth Welfare Depts is relieved from the additional charge of ACS-Cultural Affairs, Tourism and Sports & Youth Welfare Depts. He will hold additional charge as ACS- Personnel Dept, Maninder Singh IAS ( 1989) presently ACS- Housing & Urban Affairs and Cooperation Depts and Chief Resident Commissioner- Assam Bhawan, New Delhi now posted as ACS- Cooperation Department. He shall hold additional charge as ACS- Sports & Youth Welfare, Cultural Affairs and Tourism Dept, Avinash Purushottam Das Joshi IAS (1994) presently Principal Secretary – Environment & Forest and Revenue & DM Departments and Additional Principal Resident Commissioner- Assam Bhawan, New Delhi posted as Principal Secretary – Revenue & DM Department and Additional Principal Resident Commissioner- Assam Bhawan, New Delhi as additional charge, Niraj Verma IAS (1994) presently Principal Secretary – Home, Political, Power (E), Parliamentary Affairs and Personnel Depts and Additional Principal Resident Commissioner- Assam Bhawan, New Delhi to hold additional charge as Principal Secretary – Information & Public Relation Dept while Rajesh Prasad IAS ( 1995) presently Principal Secretary – Excise, Irrigation and Soil Conservation Depts and Chairman- SLNA, WDC-PMKSY to hold post of Principal Secretary- Housing & Urban Affairs Dept as additional charge.
