Assam IAS Transfers | The Assam Govt has shifted 4 IAS Officers across the state with immediate effect, the list of names are :

1. Shri Hemen Das IAS ( 2009) presently Secretary- Social Welfare and Science & Technology Department and CEO- Biotech Technology Council and Guwahati Biotech Park transferred as Secretary- Panchayat & Rural Development Department.
2. Shri B Kalyan Chakravarthy IAS (1995) presently Principal Secretary- Elementary Education Department, MD- SSA and MD- RMSA given additional charge as Principal Secretary- Secondary Department.
3. Shri Preetom Saikia IAS ( 1999) presently  Commissioner & Secretary- Elementary Education, Secondary Education, Education and Cultural Affairs Departments  given additional charge as Commissioner & Secretary- Information & Public Relation and Printing & Stationery Departments.
4. Smt Manjula Saikia Bhuyan IAS ( 2009) presently Secretary- Industries & Commerce Department given additional charge as Secretary- Transport Department .
