4 IAS transfers in Assam | Indian Bureaucracy Exclusive – The Assam Govt has transferred 4 IAS (Indian Administrative Service) Officers across the state with Anusua Dutta Barua IAS ( 2012) presently Joint Secretary – Food and Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Dept now posted as Secretary – Food and Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Dept , Varshaty Das IAS (2012) presently Joint Secretary – Indigenous and Tribal Faith and Culture Dept posted as Secretary – Soil Conservation Dept , Sadnek Singh IAS ( 2014) presently Joint Secretary – Transformation and Development Dept posted as Additional Secretary – Transformation and Development Dept while Dr. Om Prakash IAS (2006) presently on his reversion from inter-state deputation is now appointed as Commissioner and Secretary – Agriculture Dept with additional charge of Commissioner and Secretary- Environment and Forest Dept , Assam.
