Summary: 36 IPS officers transferred in Uttar Pradesh
Meerut SSP Ms. Manjil Saini IPS has been sent on child care leave, Unnao SP Ms Pushpanjali Devi IPS has been attached to DGP headquarters in Lucknow. Shri Rajesh Pandey IPS , the present SSP of Aligarh, will replace Saini in Meerut while Shri Harish Kumar IPS , SP, human rights, will take over as Unnao SP. Shri Ajay Sahni IPS , the SP of Azamgarh, was made the new Aligarh SSP. Shri Ravi Shankar Chhavi IPS , SSP, Sambhal, will move to Azamgarh in the same capacity.
Former SSP ATS Shri Umesh Kumar Srivastava IPS was transferred as DIG (prisons) while Shri Jogender Kumar IPS , SSP Bareilly, has been made the new ATS SSP. Kalanidhi Naithani IPS , the present Pilibhit SP, will take over as Bareilly SSP. Shri Manoj Kumar IPS , SP of Firozabad, was made the new SSP of Faizabad. He will replace Shri SS Baghel IPS ,who will take over as DIG, security. Shri Mohit Gupta IPS , who was attached to the DGP headquarters, has been made SP of UP-100. Shri Himanshu Kumar IPS , another officer attached to the DGP office, was made SP (railway) in Jhansi.
Bareilly SSP Shri Jogendra Kumar IPS has been transferred and would take over as superintendent of police (SP), ATS, in Lucknow. Outgoing Pilibhit superintendent of police (SP) Kalanithi Naithani IPS will take over as new SSP of Bareilly. Naithani is a 2010 batch IPS officer and has served as Pilibhit SP for a long duration.
Among other news district police chiefs, Shri Ram Lal Varma IPS will take over as Kheri SP; Shri Shivasimpi Channappa IPS will be the new SP of Shahjahanpur; Shri Krishna Bahadur Singh IPS has been made new SSP of Bulandshahr; Shri Ashok Kumar IPS is the new Shravasti police chief; Shri Rahul Yadvendra IPS will be the new SP of Firozabad; Sabharaj IPS will go to Bahraich and Shri Rajesh Kumar IPS to Balrampur as SPs. Similarly, Shri Ajay Shankar Rai IPS will be the new police chief of Mainpuri and Shri Sankalp Sharma IPS of Hapur. RM Bhardwaj IPS is the new SP of Sambhal. Further, G Muniraj IPS , SSP Bulandshahr, was transferred .
