The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointments in Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) with Tarun Kapoor IAS (Retd.) (Himachal Pradesh 1987) now appointed as Advisor to the Prime Minister, in the Prime Minister’s Office (rank and scale of Secretary to Government of India, initially for a period of two years) , Hari Ranjan Rao IAS (Madhya Pradesh 1994) presently Administrator- Universal Services Obligation Fund, Department of Telecommunications now appointed as Additional Secretary- Prime Minister’s Office while Atish Chandra IAS (Bihar 1994) presently CMD- Food Corporation of India, Department of Food and Public Distribution is now appointed as Additional Secretary- Prime Minister’s Office .
