IPS Transfers & Postings in Gujarat | Indian Bureaucracy News | The Gujarat Govt has transferred 18 IPS Officers across the state with immediate effect , the full list of officers is :

1. Shri T S Bisht IPS (Gujarat 1985) presently Director General- Civil Defense and Commandant General- Home Guards, Gujarat States, Ahmedabad transferred as Director General of Police- CID(Crime & Railways ), Gandhinagar .
2. Shri Sanjay Srivastava IPS (Gujarat 1987) presently Director General of Police- CID(Crime & Railways ), Gujarat States, Gandhinagar transferred as Commissioner of Police- Ahmedabad City .
3. Shri Ajay Kumar Tomar IPS (Gujarat 1989) presently Special Commissioner of Police- Crime, Ahmedabad City transferred as Commissioner of Police- Surat City, Surat .
4. Dr. Shamsher Singh IPS (Gujarat 1991) presently Additional Director General – CID(Crime & Railways), Gandhinagar , transferred as  Additional Director General- Technical Services & SCRB, Gandhinagar , Gujarat.
5. Dr. (Ms.) Neerja Gotru Rao IPS (Gujarat 1991) presently Special Commissioner of Police (Administration), Ahmedabad City transferred as Director General- Civil Defence & Commandant General , Home Guards, Gujarat State, Ahmedabad.
6. Shri R B Brahmbhatt IPS (Gujarat 1995) presently Commissioner of Police- Surat City, Surat transferred on Cadre post of Commissioner of Police- Vadodara City, Vadodara .
7. Dr. Prafulla Kumar Roushan IPS (Gujarat 1996) presently returning from Central Deputation now appointed ex-Cadre post of Inspector General of Police (Armed units), Rajkot .
8. Shri Anupam Singh Gahlaut IPS (Gujarat 1997) presently Commissioner of Police- Vadodara City, Vadodara  transferred on ex-cadre post of Inspector General of Police- Intelligence, Gandhinagar also holding additional charge of Executive Director- Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd., Vadodara .
9. Shri Amit Kumar Viswakarma IPS (Gujarat 1998) presently Joint Commissioner of Police- Sector,Ahmedabad City , transferred on Cadre post of Joint Commissioner Of Police (Crime)- Ahmedabad City also holding the additional charge of Additional Director General of Police (ATS & Coastal security)- Gujarat State, Ahmedabad .
10. Shri Brajesh Kumar Jha IPS (Gujarat 1999) presently Secretary, Home Department, Sachivalay, Gandhinagar , has been transferred on ex-Cadre post of Inspector General of Police- Administration, Gujarat State, Gandhinagar.
11. Shri K G Bhati IPS (Gujarat 1999) presently Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic & Crime)- Vadodara City , has been transferred on Cadre post of Inspector General of police, Ahmedabad Range, Ahmedabad .
12. Shri Ajay Kumar Chaudhari IPS (Gujarat 1999) presently Inspector General of Police, Armed Units, Rajk0t , has been transferred and appointed on ex-Cadre post of Joint Commissioner of Police (Administration), Ahmedabad City  also holding the additional charge of the post of Joint Commissioner of Police (Headquarters), Ahmedabad City.
13. Shri S G Trivedi IPS (Gujarat 1999) presently Inspector General of Police- Border Range, Bhuj transferred on Cadre post of Inspector General of Police- CID (Crime & Railways), Gujarat State, Gandhinagar.
14. Shri A D Chudasama IPS (Gujarat 1999) presently Inspector General of police, Vadodara Range, Vadodara , has been transferred and appointed on Cadre post of Inspector General Of Police, Gandhinagar Range, Gandhinagar and relieved from the additional charge of the post of Joint Director, Civil Defence, Ahmedabad.
15. Shri H G Patel IPS (Gujarat 1999) presently Inspector General of Police- Administration, Gujarat State. Gandhinagar  transferred on Cadre post of Inspector General Of Police- Vadodara Range, Vadodara and relieved from his current attachment with office of Commissioner of Police, Surat City, Surat with immediate effect.
16. Smt. Nipuna M Torawane IPS (Gujarat 2000) presently Joint Commissioner of Police- Sector-2, Ahmedabad City transferred on ex-Cadre post of Secretary, Home Department Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar .
17. Shri J R Mothaliya IPS (Gujarat 2001) presently Joint Commissioner of Police- Traffic, Ahmedabad City transferred on Cadre post of Inspector General Of Police- Border Range, Bhuj.
18. Shri M A Chawda IPS (Gujarat 2001) presently Inspector General of Police- Gandhinagar Range, Gandhinagar  transferred on Cadre post Of Joint Commissioner of Police- Traffic, Ahmedabad City .
