Kerala:Public came out in large numbers on Thursday as the state partially opened up. According to the revised testing guidelines, testing target in local self-governments (LSGS) with over 30% seven day average The state government has allowed private buses to operate services from Friday on an odd-even basis on alternate days adhering to Covid protocol. There will be no service during weekends. The state confirmed 12,469 Covid-19 cases on Thursday. As of now, there are 1,08,560 active cases in the state. With 88 more deaths, the toll has risen to  11,743. TPR now stands at 10.85 %. A total of 1,19,55,852 people have so far been vaccinated in the state. Out of this, 95,55,765 took first dose and   24,00,087 took second dose.

Tamil Nadu: After 60 days, Tamil Nadu’s daily Covid­19 case count dropped below 10,000 on Thursday. The State recorded 9,118 cases and 210 deaths, taking its tally to 23,97,864 and toll to 30,548. Covid spread is coming down in Chennai too. Tamil Nadu Health Minister Ma. Subramanian on Thursday expressed the confidence that there will be a rapid slide in Covid­19 cases in the State within a week. The test positivity rate in the Union Territory of Puducherry dropped below 4% as 326 cases were confirmed from 9,106 tests even as 480 recoveries were recorded on Thursday. Till date 1,18,98,338 have been vaccinated across the State, of which 96,81,761 received first dose and 22,16,577 received second dose.

Karnataka:As per the State Government bulletin released for 17-06-2021, New Cases Reported: 5,983; Total Active Cases: 1,46,726; New Covid Deaths: 138; Total Covid Deaths: 33,434; Around 1,46,236 were vaccinated yesterday with a total of 1,78,01,556 have been vaccinated in the state till now. Ninety two percent of health workers who received the vaccine recovered with mild to moderate infections, when infected according to a study by Fortis Health Care.

Andhra Pradesh: State reported 6151 new Covid-19 cases after testing 1,02,712 samples with 58 deaths, while 7728 got discharged during the last 24 hours. A total of 1,24,42,374 doses of Covid vaccines have been administered in the state as on yesterday, which include 97,97,330 first doses and 26,45,044 second doses.  The government has decided to further relax curfew hours from 6 AM to 6 PM from June 21. The AP High Court expressed its displeasure over the Centre for failing to set up the 50 oxygen plants in the state as assured, and questioned how 18 oxygen plants were said to be ready in the first week of June even after the places were shown by the state government. The Court directed the Centre to submit full details and posted next hearing to June 24.

Telangana:As many as 1,492 new infections and 13 deaths were reported yesterday taking the total number of cases in the state to 6,09,417 and fatalities to 3,534. The number of Active Cases in the state now is 19,521. The Case Fatality Rate and the Recovery Rate stand at 0.57 percent and 96.21 percent, respectively. According to the State Health officials, there are five districts namely – Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy, Khammam, Nalgonda and Karimnagar – from where a greater number of Covid cases are being reported and more attention is being paid to them. Coming to vaccination drive in the state, a total of 1,75,241 people of all sections received the first dose and 7,282 people the second dose yesterday. The cumulative number of persons received first dose in the state now stands at 71,50,608 and second dose at 15,41,653.

Maharashtra: Maharashtra has reported 9830 new COVID-19 cases, 5890 discharges, and 236 deaths in the last 24 hours. There are 1,39,960 active cases in the state at present. Pune, Nagpur, Aurangabad, Mumbai and Nashik have collectively recorded 57% of the state’s Covid-associated mucormycosis cases.

Gujarat: Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has e-dedicated a 13,000-Liter capacity tank to store liquid oxygen at SGVP Holistic Hospital in Ahmedabad on Thursday. Gujarat has recorded 293 new cases of Covid-19 on Thursday. Also, 770 patients recovered during the last 24 hours and were discharged from the hospitals. Total 8 lakh 3 thousand 892 patients haverecovered from Covid19 in Gujarat till now. Meanwhile, 2 lakh 52 thousand 543 persons have been vaccinated in the state on Thursday.

Rajasthan:Covid recovery rate in Rajasthan has shot up to 98.6 per cent riding on the recovery of another 895 people in the last 24 hours. As on Thursday, the total number of recovered cases stood at 9,37,481 while the casualty count reached 8,875 after 10 more people succumbed to the disease. A total of 205 new infections were reported on Thursday. There are now 4,262 active cases in the state. However, while the recovery rate continues to improve, the State Government is now focusing more on vaccination drives anticipating the third wave in the coming months.

Madhya Pradesh: A Vaccination Mahabhiyan will start in the state from International Yoga Day on 21st June in 7000 centres in which free vaccination will be given to 18 years plus age group. State Immunization Director Dr. Santosh Shukla said that 50 lakh people will be vaccinated in the special drive at the rate of 7 lakh per day.Awareness Yatra will be taken out on 1st,2nd and 3rd July for vaccination. 145 new positive cases have been detected on Thursday.22 districts in the state have no cases at present. There are only 2984 active cases in the state at present.

Chhattisgarh: 74.34 lakh doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered till date. The recovery rate in Chhattisgarh has now increased to 98 percent. Right now the rate of infection in the state has come down to only 1.29 percent. Only three districts have a higher infection rate, that is, 3.03 percent in Korba, 3.46 percent in Gariaband and 4.59 percent in Bijapur.

Goa: Goa CM Pramod Sawant today announced one time help of Rs 5,000 to small scale business owners, those into traditional occupation, MGNREGA workers and other self employed whose livelihood has been affected due to COVID19 . He also said that forms for Ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh to economically weaker families whose earning member has expired, will also be available within 8 days with the Dy Collectors. The state reported 254 new cases on Thursday and the number of active cases at present are 3824.

Assam;A total of 41 COVID-19 deaths were reported in Assam in the last 24 hours, while 3,477 new infections were detected in 1,54,264 tests conducted across the state during the day. The positivity rate stood at 2.25 percent. Kamrup Metro saw 169 new cases.

Manipur:Manipur State on Thursday reported 495 new positive cases of COVID-19 out of 5884 samples tested along with 13 fatalities. Though the daily positivity rate remains under 10 per cent, it is still high with Thursday recording 8.41 per cent. The total number of people who have been administered COVID19 vaccine in Manipur is 4,83,335.

Meghalaya: Fresh cases outnumbered recoveries for the second day in a row in Meghalaya with the state registering 478 fresh COVID-19 cases on Thursday, while 329 patients recovered in the last 24 hours. In a positive development, the state administered a record 17,265 doses of vaccine on the day.Four people succumbed to the infection on Thursday pushing the total number of deaths to 762.

Nagaland:Nagaland reports 76 new cases of COVID-19 and 5 fatalities on Thursday. Active cases are 2368. Nagaland govt imposes total ban on movement of people and vehicles from 4 pm to 5 am everyday during lockdown period till June 30.

Tripura: In Tripura, Corona Curfew extended till 5 AM of June 26 in Agartala Municipal Corporation areas and 9 Municipal Councils and 2 Nagar Panchayats. Over 53 thousand vaccinated on a single day in Tripura.

Sikkim: Sikkim’s COVID-19 tally rose to18,896 on Thursday as 90 more people tested positive for the infection, while two fresh fatalities pushed the Himalayan state’s coronavirus death toll to 287, a health bulletin said.The Himalayan state now has 2,907 active cases, while 15,452 people have recovered from the disease and 250 patients have migrated to other states so far.

Punjab: The total number of patients tested Positive is 590556. Number of active cases is 9479. Total Deaths reported is 15738. Total COVID-19 Vaccinated with 1st dose (Healthcare + Frontline Workers) is 1278503. Total COVID-19 Vaccinated with 2nd dose (Healthcare + Frontline Workers) is 320455. Total above 45 Vaccinated with 1st dose is 3148280. Total above 45 Vaccinated with 2nd dose is 515914.

Haryana: Total Number of Samples found positive till date is 766838. Total active COVID-19 patients are 3227. Number of deaths is 9147. Cumulative number of people vaccinated till date is 6867215.

Chandigarh: Total Lab confirmed COVID-19 cases are 61310. Total number of Active Cases is 432. Total number of COVID-19 deaths till date is 802.

Himachal Pradesh: Total number of patients tested Covid positive till date is 199699. Total number of Active Cases is 3430. Total deaths reported till date is 3408.
