Indian Bureaucracy, Dehradun, November 27, 2024| The government today announced the transfer of 19 police officers, including five from the Indian Police Service (IPS) and 14 from the Provincial Police Service (PPS). The reshuffle includes appointments of new Additional Superintendents of Police (ASPs) across various hill districts, as well as key positions in the Vigilance Department and the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF).

The following Provincial Police Service (PPS) officers have been transferred, along with their new postings and assignments;

  1. Shri Harbans Singh, presently Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) – Crime & Traffic, Nainital, is transferred and posted as Additional Superintendent of Police – Almora, Uttarakhand.
  2. Shri Jagdish Chandra, presently posted in High Court Security, Nainital, given additional charge of Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) – City, Nainital, Uttarakhand.
  3. Smt Jaya Baluni, presently Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP), Kotdwar, Paudi Garwal, is transferred and appointed as Additional Superintendent of Police (SP) – Rural, Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
  4. Shri Shekhar Chand Suyal, presently Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) at PTC Narendra Nagar, is transferred and appointed as Additional Superintendent of Police (SP) – Rural, Haridwar, Uttarakhand.
  5. Shri Pankaj Gairola, presently Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP), Crime and Traffic, Haridwar, is transferred and appointed as Additional Superintendent of Police (SP) – City, Haridwar, Uttarakhand.
  6. Shri Swatantra Kumar Singh, presently Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP), City, Haridwar, is transferred and appointed to 31 Battalion PAC, Rudrapur, Uttarakhand.
  7. Shri Swapan Kishor Singh, presently Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP),  Roorkee, Haridwar, is transferred and appointed as Deputy Commander – NDRF, Uttarakhand.
  8. Shri Chandramohan Singh, presently Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP), STF, Dehradun, is transferred and appointed as Additional Superintendent of Police (SP) – Kotdwar, Pauri Garwal, Uttarakhand.
  9. Shri Manoj Kumar Katyal, presently Additional Superintendent of Police(ASP), Udham Singh Nagar, is transferred and appointed as Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) at PTC Narendra Nagar, Uttarakhand.
  10. Shri Mithilesh Kumar Singh, presently Deputy Commandant, SDRF, is transferred and appointed as Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) – Vigilance, Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
  11. Shri Uttam Singh Negi, presently Deputy Commandant at 31st Battalion PAC, Rudrapur, is transferred and appointed as Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) – Udham Singh Nagar, Uttarakhand.
  12. Shri Lokjeet Singh, presently Superintendent of Police (SP), Rural, Dehradun, is transferred and appointed as Superintendent of Police (SP) – Crime and Traffic, Haridwar, Uttarakhand.
  13. Shri Rajan Singh, presently Deputy Commander in Indian Reserve Battalion (IRB) II, is transferred and appointed as Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) – Police Headquarters, Uttarakhand.
  14. Shri Chandrashekhar Anthwal, presently Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP),  Police Headquarters, is transferred and appointed as Deputy Commander – Indian Reserve Battalion (IRB) II, Uttarakhand.
