Indian Bureaucracy, New Delhi, April 24, 2025| The Department of Personnel and Training (DOPT), under the Ministry of Home Affairs, has announced the appointment of several DANICS (Delhi, Andaman and Nicobar Islands Civil Service) officers from the GNCTD (Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi) segment to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), under the Joint AGMUT Cadre, for the Select Lists of 2021-2024. The newly promoted officers are:
- Shri Jitendra Kumar Jain DANICS (1995; DoB – 26.08.1966), presently posted as Special Director, Employment, is promoted to IAS under Select List 2021.
- Shri Gurpal Singh DANICS (1996; DoB – 03.06.1968), presently posted as Deputy Commissioner, MCD, is promoted to IAS under Select List 2021.
- Ms Ranjana Deswal DANICS (1996; DoB – 01.07.1968), presently posted at NDMC, is promoted to IAS under Select List 2021.
- Shri Mohammed Ahsan Abid DANICS (1996; DoB – 06.09.1968), presently posted as Special Secretary (Tourism) with additional charges of Secretary (Urdu Academy), Survey Commissioner AUQAF, Delhi Waqf Board, and CVO DT & TDC, is promoted to IAS under Select List 2021.
- Shri Sanjeev Kumar DANICS (1996; DoB – 05.03.1968), presently posted as Special Secretary, Administrative Reforms Department, is promoted to IAS under Select List 2022.
- Shri Rajesh Kumar DANICS (1996; DoB – 15.06.1971), presently posted as Special CEO, Office of The Chief Electoral Officer, Delhi, is promoted to IAS under Select List 2022.
- Shri Eda Raja Babu DANICS (1996; DoB – 01.08.1967), presently awaiting posting, is promoted to IAS under Select List 2022.
- Ms Sonika Singh DANICS (1997; DoB – 05.10.1974), presently posted as Private Secretary to LG, Special Secretary level rank, is promoted to IAS under Select List 2023.
- Shri Anil Banka DANICS (1997; DoB – 05.02.1973), presently posted as Deputy Commissioner, South-East Delhi, Revenue Department, is promoted to IAS under Select List 2023.
- Shri Vivek Kumar Tripathi DANICS (2001; DoB – 25.09.1971), presently awaiting posting with salary drawn from GAD, is promoted to IAS under Select List 2024.
- Shri Shailendra Singh Parihar DANICS (2001; DoB – 10.05.1977), presently posted as Special Secretary, Finance & Planning, is promoted to IAS under Select List 2024.
- Shri Vishwendra DANICS (2001; DoB – 27.05.1977), presently posted as Special Commissioner, Transport, with additional chare of GM, DTC, is promoted to IAS under Select List 2024.
