11 IPS promotions in J&K | Indian Bureaucracy News – Eleven IPS Officers of J&K Cadre were promoted to various grades of Indian Police Service (IPS) in Jammu & Kashmir Police, the names of the officers are :
5 officers accorded promotion to the grade of Super Time Scale, IG (Level-14 of the pay matrix) with effect from January 1, 2022.
- Shri Uttam Chand IPS ( 2002) on Deputation to GoI (Deputy Secretary in Class-I Executive Cadre of the Cabinet Secretariat)
- Smt Vidhi Kumar Birdi IPS ( 2003) presently on Deputation to GoI (DIG in NIA)
- Shri Keshav Ram Chaurasia IPS ( 2003) presently Deputation to GoI, DIG- CBI, Ministry of DOP&T, New Delhi)
- Shri Atul Kumar Goel IPS ( 2004) DIG- CID
- Shri Bhim Sen Tuti IPS ( 2004) Deputation to London School of Economics and Political Science, UK
Three IPS officers of the 2008 batch were promoted to the grade of Super Time Scale , DIG (Level-13A in the pay matrix), with effect from January 1, 2022.
- Shri Tejinder Singh IPS (2008) presently Deputation to GOI (SP, NIA)(on pro forma basis),
- Shri Abdul Jabbar IPS (2008) presently DIG, South Kashmir Range
- Shri Udayabhaskar Billa IPS ( 2008) presently DIG, North Kashmir Range
Three IPS officers of the 2009 batch were placed in the Selection Grade of IPS (Level-13 in the Pay Matrix) with effect from January 1, 2022.
- Shri Imtiaz Ismail Parray IPS ( 2009) presently SSP, Crime, Kashmir
- Shri Shailendra Kumar Mishra IPS ( 2009) presently Deputation to GOI (SP, NIA)
- Shri Rahul Malik IPS ( 2009) presently Deputation to GoI as Deputy Secretary in the MHA
