10 Additional Secretary Appointments at the Centre | Bureaucracy India Update

Indian Bureaucracy Additional Secretary Appointments |  The Central Government has appointed Ten Additional Secretaries at the centre with Sanjay A Chahande IAS of 1988 Batch Maharashtra presently posted as DDG- Unique Identification Authority of India at Mumbai as Textile Commissioner, Ministry of Textiles in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary  while Bharat Lal from Indian Forest Service , Gujarat cadre 1988 presently JS to the President has been made Additional Secretary to the President, Ravi Agrawal IRS of 1988 batch posted as  JS- Dept of Investment and Public Asset Management under Finance  Ministry has been appointed as Additional Secretary- Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate.

Annie George Mathew an IA&AS Officer of 1988 batch presently posted as JS- Dept of Expenditure has been made Additional Secretary- Dept of Expenditure while her batchmate  Meenakshi Sharma IA&AS of 1988 currently posted as Additional DG- Tourism has been appointed as DG- Tourism. Another batchmate Meera Swarup IA&AS of 1988 batch currently JS & FA-  Dept of Expenditure has been appointed as Additional Secretary & Financial Advisor- Department of Expenditure, Sandeep Saxena IAS of Tamil Nadu cadre, 1989 batch presently posted as Deputy Election Commissioner- Election Commission of India has been appointed as Dy Election Commissioner, Election Commission of India in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary.

Vijoy Kumar Singh IAS of Punjab 1990 batch currently JS- DoPT has been appointed as Additional Secretary and Financial Advisor-  Ministry of Textiles while batchmate Anurag Agarwal IAS Punjab 1990 presently JS- MCA has been appointed as Additional Secretary & Financial Advisor- Ministry of Power while Arun Baroka  IAS of AGMUT cadre 1990 batch who is presently posted as JS-  Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation has been appointed Additional Secretary- Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation.
