The Cabinet Committee on Parliamentary Affairs headed by Home Minister Rajnath Singh met in New Delhi on Wednesday to deliberate upon the dates of the session.Later, briefing reporters on the Cabinet decisions, Finance Ministry Arun Jaitley said the Winter Session schedule will be such that it did not overlap with the Assembly elections and it will be a regular session. Earlier, opposition had criticised the government for delaying the session accusing the Centre of sabotaging it on flimsy grounds. The BJP, however, rejected the charge and insisted that previous governments including the UPA had also rescheduled sessions.
