The West Bengal Government has announced the transfer of six IAS officers, reflecting its strategy for administrative reorganization across key departments.

Shri Abhishek Kumar Tiwary IAS ( 2012), currently serving as Special Secretary in the Health & Family Welfare Department, has been appointed as the Managing Director of West Bengal Tourism Development Corporation Limited, with an additional charge as Director of Tourism, until further notice, Shri Jagdish Prasad Meena IAS ( 2004), presently Secretary in the Department of Personnel & Administrative Reforms with additional responsibilities as Secretary, Correctional Administration Department, and Divisional Commissioner of the Presidency Division, has been reassigned to continue as Secretary in the Department of Personnel & Administrative Reforms. He will also take on additional charges as Member-Secretary of the Pollution Control Board and Divisional Commissioner, Presidency Division.

Shri Yeluchuri Ratnakara Rao IAS (2006), who is currently Secretary in the Health & Family Welfare Department, has been transferred to serve as Secretary in the Non-Conventional & Renewable Energy Sources Department, Shri Vivek Kumar IAS (2016), who is presently the Joint Secretary in the Agriculture Department, has been posted as Joint Secretary in the Health & Family Welfare Department, Shri Shashank Sethi IAS (2010), currently the Managing Director of West Bengal Tourism Development Corporation Limited with an additional charge as Director of Tourism, has been appointed as the Managing Director of WBHIDCO while Smt Roshni Sen IAS (1993), who is currently the Additional Chief Secretary in the Fisheries, Aquaculture, Aquatic Resources, and Fishing Harbour Development Department, has been given the additional charge of serving as the Additional Chief Secretary of the Environment Department.
