Shri Vivek Plawat presently Executive Director, National Textile Corporation Ltd has been appointed for the post of Director(Technical), National Textile Corporation Ltd by PESB.
Shri Plawat is a textile graduate having industry experience of more than 25 years in best of the textile groups like Dinesh Mills, LNJ Group, Arvind Mills, Welspun India, at key positions. Has provided leadership to position the companies at the forefront of the industry. Developed strategic plans to promote revenue, profitability and growth of organizations. Overseen company operations to ensure production efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management of resources. He has knowledge of contracting, negotiating and change management. Skilled in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures. Has ability to develop financial plans and manage resources. Has ample knowledge of communication and public relation techniques. He currently heads the Projects, Budget, IT and Energy Conservation divisions of NTC. He has published a couple of books, is member of NITRA council of administration and many other professional bodies.
