Shri Vivek Kumar Johri IPS (Madhya Pradesh 1984) presently Special Secretary- Cabinet Secretariat, Government of India, took charge as as Director General – Border Security Force (BSF), Ministry of Home Affairs. Shri Johri has served as the Special Secretary in the external intelligence agency Research and Analysis Wing (RAW), under the Cabinet Secretariat, and Officer on Special Duty (OSD) in the Union Home ministry on July 29 so that he can take over as the BSF DG. Shri Johri an engineering graduate from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MT), Bhopal, Johri has earlier served in the CBI apart from serving in his cadre state.
