Shri Vijay S Sakhare IPS (Kerala 1996), presently on central deputation and posted as Inspector General of Police (IG), National Investigation Agency (NIA), is promoted (08.09.2025) and appointed as Additional Director General of Police (ADG) – NIA, Ministry of Home Affairs, GoI, in Level-15 in the Pay Matrix. The post of IG, NIA is temporarily upgraded for a period of two years.
