Honourble Minister of Housing & Urban Poverty Alleviation, UD and I&B, Government Of India, Shri Venkaiah Naidu, inaugurated HUDCO Build Tech – 2016 at India International Trade Fair (IITF) at Hall No. 5 on 15th November, 2016. HUDCO Build Tech – 2016 is showcasing a grand display of work done by HUDCO in nation building through financing of projects and partnering in Government of India programmes like PMAY, NULM, Smart Cities etc., promotion of cost effective & environment friendly building materials and technologies. This year’s exhibition is a perfect blend of HUDCO’s contribution in sustainable urban development focusing on funding of housing & infrastructure projects and innovative consultancy assignments in architecture, city planning, utilization of cost effective and sustainable building materials, technologies and services, and energy efficient Green Buildings, etc.
The exhibition is a striking combination of technology and innovation by way of construction of demonstration units using pre‐fab options and other cost effective building materials and technologies by way of display of various Nirmithi Kendras. One of the major attractions of the exhibition is participation of various State Govts on behalf of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation and other companies from Real Estate and Housing Finance who are focusing on CLSS component of Govt of India programme of PMAY. HUDCO Build Tech pavilion has always earned a tremendous response from National and International visitors including professionals from diversified fields like Architecture, Interior Designers, Builders, Contractors, Civil Engineers and consultants from various fields. Trade delegations from abroad; captains of the industry, Chief Executives of Organizations, opinion makers, Technocrats, Govt. Officials were present to grace the occasion.
