Shri Vaibhav Choudhary is a committed and dynamic officer of the Indian Police Service, currently serving as Superintendent of Police – Headquarters, Patiala. Known for his sharp investigative acumen and leadership capabilities, Shri Choudhary has demonstrated a strong commitment to public service and upholding law and order.
A 2020-batch IPS officer, Shri Choudhary was initially allotted the Bihar cadre and later secured an inter-cadre transfer to Punjab in April 2023, following his marriage to Ms. Manisha Rana IAS (Punjab 2019), who currently serves as Joint Commissioner, Patiala Municipal Corporation.
Since joining the Punjab cadre, he has served in key positions in Patiala district, including Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), Sub-Division City-1, and ASP (Detective), Patiala, where he played a pivotal role in strengthening crime detection and prevention mechanisms. His proactive approach and people-centric policing earned him recognition within the force and among the public alike.
In April 2025, he was appointed as SP – Headquarters, Patiala, a testament to his capable leadership, operational efficiency, and strategic insight in police administration.
