Indian Bureaucracy News, Leh, June 26, 2026 | The Union Territory of Ladakh has designated officers to oversee the implementation of the Right to Information (RTI) Act, 2005, in the Information Technology Department, as per an order issued on June 22, 2026.
In accordance with Sub-section (1) of Section 19 of the RTI Act, 2005, Ms Shashanka Ala IAS (AGMUT 2014), presently Administrative Secretary, Department of Information Technology, UT of Ladakh, has been appointed as the First Appellate Authority (FAA) for the department. Additionally, Shri Sanjat Bhardwaj JKAS, Under Secretary, UT of Ladakh, has been appointed as the Public Information Officer (PIO) for the same department.
