Uttar Pradesh government, as per Supreme Court order, has decided to revert all Shiksha Mitra who were adjusted as regular teacher in primary education. They will be paid ten thousand rupees as honorarium per month from this month and will be treated as Shiksha Mitra.

The government has decided to give them opportunities in Teachers Eligibility Test TET examinations and will also be awarded weightage of 2.5 marks for their per year experience of teaching but it will be maximum 25 marks.

The government has decided to held TET examination in the month of October and give them Chance to qualify the test and vacancies will be advertised In good number In the month of December for their recruitment as regular teacher.

The government has also decided to amend UP Teachers Service Rules to give relaxation to Shiksha Mitra in educational qualifications for their regular recruitment.
