Shri Umesh Kumar Singh presently General Manager, Central Bank of India to the post of Central Registrar, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer in the Central Registry of Securitisation Asset Reconstruction and Security lnterest of lndia (CERSAI) for a period of 03 years.
Born on 31st October, 1966, Shri Singh has more than two decades of rich banking experience including Vigilance, Digital Banking, Human Resources and Risk Management. After graduating as an engineer from Moti Lal Nehru Regional Engineering College, Allahabad, he started his career as an officer with Central Bank of India in 1994. Shri Singh rose through ranks while heading various branches & regions in different parts of the country for more than 14 years. He was elevated to the post of General Manager in the year 2011. He has headed different verticals of the Bank viz. Operations, Transaction Banking and Rajbhasha and also served as Field General Manger of Bhopal and Kolkata Zone. He was selected for the post of Chief Vigilance Officer in January, 2019 and has served as CVO of Vijaya Bank, Allahabad Bank and UCO Bank and Union Bank of India before his appointment as Central Registrar and MD & CEO of CERSAI.
